1) SAGRA DELLA SARDELLA

Ogni Agosto (la secconda domenica ed il lunedì successivo), il suggestivo centro storico di Crucoli celebra il suo “caviale dei poveri”. Protagonista è la sardella, un’esplosione di sapore a base di bianchetto, peperoncino e finocchietto.La festa trasforma i vicoli in un percorso enogastronomico che profuma di storia e artigianalità. Stand pittoreschi offrono degustazioni del nostro “caviale” in diverse preparazioni da leccarsi i baffi. La musica etnica e i balli di piazza accompagnano le giornate e tutto il centro storico è coinvolto in questa sagra che è un rito collettivo di una comunità fiera delle proprie radici marinare e contadine. Un appuntamento imperdibile per chi cerca l’autenticità dei sapori forti e della convivialità del Sud.
Every August (on the second Sunday and the following Monday), the charming historic center of Crucoli celebrates its ‘caviar of the poor.’ The star of the show is the Sardella, an explosion of flavor made from whitebait, chili pepper, and wild fennel.
